Community Health Workers are the key to success. Everyday Life supports CHWs in the completion of core competency standards. *Michigan does not currently have a state certification, however completion of core competencies are supported by stakeholders as the first step toward a state certification.
The social determinants of health are the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age. These circumstances are shaped by the distribution of money, power and resources at global, national and local levels.
