Community Health Workers play a key role in building individual, organization and community capacity by addressing the social determinants of health. Everyday Life Consultants are experts in Community Health Workers, Clinical-Community Linkages, and much more. In addition to our consulting, we are proud to provide start up administrative support to the Rural Community Health Worker Network; a newly formed nonprofit organization. RCHWN filed it’s tax exempt 501c3 status in August of 2018 with the launch of its Community Outreach Resource Extension (C.O.R.E.) Project. RCHWN received their 501c3 status in March 2019,we are thankful to all of our partners.

In April of 2018, we created the RCHWN with gracious sponsors and only 5 members. By the end of 2018, our network has grown to over 60 members. In 2019, we welcome you to renew or invite others to join the Rural Community Health Worker Network (RCHWN) where networking, supporting and education are everything! Your $25 annual membership includes access to a closed Facebook community of only CHWs, monthly professional development opportunities for continuing education credits, quarterly in person events with expert guest speakers, access to a CHW only retreat and an opportunity to win a scholarship to a CHW State or National conference. Community Health Workers are the key to success. Everyday Life supports CHWs in the completion of core competency standards. *Michigan does not currently have a state certification, however completion of core competencies are supported by stakeholders as the first step toward a state certification.

Everyday Life Consulting has partnered with the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance (MiCHWA) standardized curriculum and training program for the State of Michigan. Upon completion, the student receives a certificate MiCHWA and is MiCHWA-Certified.
